How many packs of tape ins, itips or wefts do I need to purchase? Plus

1-2 packs are recommend for thickness only, no length. 
3-4 packs are recommended for thickness and length.
4+ packs are recommend for additional length and volume.

What is the 'double drawn' range? Plus

Our double drawn hair extensions offer luxurious, uniform thickness from top to bottom, providing a fuller appearance compared to extensions with natural tapered ends.

Can my La'Vella extensions be dyed? Plus

While our extensions are made from 100% human hair and are technically capable of being dyed, we advise caution. They have undergone their own dyeing process, so further coloring might reduce their lifespan and could potentially cause damage. We especially advise against dyeing our Balayage or Ombre sets due to their extensive prior processing. If you decide to dye your La'Vella extensions, please note that it's at your own risk. We recommend consulting a professional colorist.

Can I use styling tools on my La'Vella extensions? Plus

Absolutely! Feel free to use your favorite styling tools. For the best care, we recommend applying a heat protectant spray before styling. Some users prefer to wash their La'Vella extensions first to remove the vitamin-enriched coating, enhancing styling results.

Can I wash my La'Vella extensions? Plus

Yes, you can—and should! To keep your La'Vella extensions looking their best, avoid shampoos containing sulfates and opt for hydrating conditioners. Applying leave-in conditioners and heat protectants can also help prolong the life of your extensions.

How long does my hair need to be to wear La'Vella extensions? Plus

For best results, we recommend having at least 6 inches of natural hair. However, if you're feeling adventurous and believe you can make it work with shorter hair, we welcome you to try!

How do I choose the right color? Plus

Choosing the perfect color is crucial. For a color match, send us a photo of your hair in natural light to support@lavellahair.com, and we’ll help you find the ideal shade.

How long does shipping take? Plus
  • Canada: Expect your beautiful extensions within 7-12 working days.
  • USA: Deliveries are typically completed within 5-7 working days.
  • International: Please allow 10-15 working days. Note that delivery times may extend for regions with slower shipping services.
How do I track my package? Plus

Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a shipment confirmation email that includes a tracking number. Please note that this may not provide step-by-step tracking but will confirm the delivery status.

Can I still purchase an item if it's on back order? Plus

Yes, absolutely! When you place an order for an item on back order at La'Vella, you reserve your set of hair extensions. As soon as they are back in stock, we will ship them to you without delay. This ensures you'll receive your desired product as soon as it becomes available.

Return & Exchanges
Can I return my hair extensions? Plus

We have a no return policy as human hair is considered a health product. If you think you have received a defective product, please visit our defective product claim page.

I received the wrong color, and I haven’t opened the package. How do I return or exchange it? Plus

To return or exchange unopened extensions:

  • Ensure the security seal remains intact.
  • Contact our support team for detailed instructions and return address information.
  • Mark the package with "RETURN - NO DUTIES" to avoid customs delays.
  • Use USPS regular shipping (avoid UPS to prevent high fees).
  • Include your order number inside the package and send it with a tracking option to ensure safe return.
  • Note: Returns or exchanges of La'Vella Professional Styling Tools are only possible if the item was purchased at full price; items bought with promotions or discounts are ineligible.
My payment won’t go through, what should I do? Plus

Defective Product Claims
Defective Product Claim Policy Plus

As per our terms and conditions, please be aware that applying hair color, toners, purple shampoos, or any chemical treatments to La'Vella Hair Extensions will void the possibility of submitting a defective product claim. Claims must be submitted within 30 days of the purchase date or from the date you received your shipment, whichever is later.

What does it mean when an item is on Back-Order? Plus

Items on back order are currently out of stock but are on their way to our warehouse. By ordering these items, you secure your place in line and will receive your product as soon as it's restocked. You’ll receive a shipment confirmation email and a tracking number once your back-ordered items have shipped. Rest assured, we handle everything for you, from updating estimated shipping dates to notifying you upon dispatch.
